I Borghi Animati is a project by the Italian Ministry of Culture to promote proximity tourism. 20 illustrators – one for each region – were selected to reinterpret some of the old myths of Italy’s hidden gems, in a contemporary and fresh way.

I illustrated one of the most famous Lombardy’s mystery – the Lariosauro, a scary monster that was spotted on the charming shores of Lake Como.
